DATA BACKUP & RESTORE POLICY

Overview

SteadyStat provides optional backup and restore functionality to help users retain control over their locally stored data.

By using the Backup or Restore features, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

No Guarantee of Compatibility

Backup files may not be compatible with future versions of the app.

Import functionality is provided on a best-effort basis and may not be error-free.

User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• Storing backup files securely
• Managing versions of backup files
• Ensuring backups are created before device changes or app deletion

SteadyStat does not store or retain backup files.

Risk of Data Overwrite

Importing a backup file may overwrite existing data. We strongly recommend exporting a current backup before importing an older one.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SteadyStat and its developers shall not be liable for:

• Data loss
• Corrupted backups
• Import failures
• Indirect or consequential damages related to backup or restore operations
